STARS SOCCER REVIEW Magazine

FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007 Canada

SSR Volume 2 Foreword

Stars Soccer Review (SSR) would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and valuable feedback.  With your assistance we are confident that we will be able to maintain the edge that is necessary to create our unique coverage based on our vast experience and knowledge.

No one knows what the future holds, but at Stars Soccer Review we are committed to the magazine in spite of the challenges of the industry. We are pleased of the positive feedbacks we received from our last issue on the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany highlights and our Caribbean Stars T&T Morvant Primary school give back project.

We strongly recommend that you pick up a copy of our Stars Soccer Review Inaugural (Volume 1) issue to appreciate our development and directional intent in moving forward.

In this second issue we bring to you the anxieties, excitement, surprises,  and enjoyment of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup 2007 in Canada and the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the USA. Also included is an update of Toronto FC and their impressive attendance at home *(BMO Field). TFC turned out to be the big story in the MLS in the aftermath of David Beckham signing with LA Galaxy.

Volume 2 covers the Brampton East Youth Soccer Club which has cultivated numerous International players (Atiba Hutchinson, Peter Roe, Jim McLoughin) and has quite a few talented players waiting in their wings. Brampton East has used its soccer program to foster friendships, good work ethics, and respect for others. We are very appreciative of Brampton East choice to be a part of SSR magazine.

Last but not least, Stars Soccer Review would like to thank MPP Mary Anne Chambers for her contribution to the youth initiative programs in the community.  We wish her a deserving good health and all the best in her retirement from Politics in October. We pray that she will continue to have fulfillment in her next phase of life after retirement.
